I have a storm 2 9550. I updated slacker radio to v3.0.454 . This is the worst thing I could have done. I reallllllly want to downgrade back (mainly because i dont want to pay for plus to cache my stations). I didnt back up my phone prior to doing so, so i no longer have the .jad file. Can anyone help me with getting a copy of the older Slacker app on my storm 2? Please please please. I think the ver i had bebore was v2.0.91 but not 100% on that. I am a newby if you couldnt tell. I sure learned that I need to back everything up. Also this v3.0.454 is really bad. I get a ton of errors.
Well I did what you said. Nut when I go back into BB app store v3.0.454 is the only option , when I go to slacker on my brower i can download v3.0.463. From what I understand. Neither will allow me to cache my stations with basic using USB. Do you have an older Version? Maybe v2.0.91?
so you want to be able to cache, correct? is that the primary reason you want an older version? to cache without paying for the newer version which limits caching to the paid version?
Ummm... I'm caching stations on the new free version of Slacker right now.
It doesn't automatically do it, you actually have to click on the Slacker icon located on your media card. But it still works the same as before. The paid version will cache them using the internet, meaning you don't have to plug it in.

You get a 30 day free trial to caching on 3.0, then it will prompt you to pay up or loose caching in general
And yes another pro to have Slacker premium 3.0 is you can also cache wirelessly
