I downloaded os 4.5 to replace the 4.2 on my curve 8310 so I could download slacker radio. It is great except runs so slow and static at first then runs ok everytime I use it. Any idea what's up? Also seems like the hourglass (wait) icon comes up a lot more with this 4.5 then it ever did with 4.2., you think I did something wrong?

It just works that way. It has to buffer. If you have a memory
I would seriously suggest caching the stations. See the link below.

Yep. You won't get decent performance unless you cache your stations.
