I don't know if anyone knows/cares, but Slacker does have a few advantages over Pandora (IMO of course).

Slacker can cache stations which is a huge plus for me, since I visit Mexico every month and don't want to pay huge amounts on data while there. I've been a paying customer since Day 2, so bring on Ver. 3!

Slacker has song lyrics you can tap in to. reminds me of the days when they put lyrics on CD's.

Slacker has an explicit filter option. it comes in handy when I'm pumping tunes in my car while giving my young (2,5,10) cousins a ride to school.

My favorite feature is to Ban an artist! If I want to start a Pink Floyd station, Jethro Tull seems to be a big contributor, so I just take him out and that saves me a ton of time. Hope this helps
