one option that the other two forgot to mention. you can go to the station in mind and hit the menu button and click on "cache station", next time you access your BB Via PC you can download a group of random songs from that stations data base to your phone. and listen it with out using Wi-Fi or Data package.... or just turn the radio off if you want....

how much of the station can you cache? Is it dependent on the size of your SD card?

You are on T-Mobile, and as far as I know, they don't charge per the byte on their BlackBerry plans.

yes that is true. It only matters if you have data plan or not.

If you do, it is unlimited, so it wouldn't matter.
If you do not, you can't connect anyway. And therefore no charge.

I also downloaded Slacker, but I have never used it. In some cases I have heard that you had to subscribe to use it, but in others, they say no. Not sure who is right, but I would like to try it out. I have heard nothing but good things about it. I figured this might be better than subscribing to Sirius.

I love Slacker! It gets me through the work day.

If you're not in a Wifi location and listening OTA, having a dataplan is really gonna help. If you're in a Wifi location, you wont have to worry about data OTA.

Cache your favorite radio stations! You wont have to worry about buffering between songs and the sound quality is better since the music is playing right off of your memory card.

When you cache, Slacker will tell you how many stations you can save based on the size of your memory card.
