Hello, I own a torch 9810
Recently, six tools started acting strange, as the functions did not work properly. The sixtools icon then no longer functioned, as the app was unlaunchable. Tapping the icon did nothing.

I uninstalled the app, and then re-insalled it (from the same device): No change.
Battery pull: no change.
Application permissions:allow all :no change.

I tried to download a new copy from app world, but my account shows that i have never purchased any app and i can't download from there (i have purchased 3). I guess the information was somehow wiped in blackberry's app world which is a separate issue.

how on earth am i supposed to access and install a working version of a program i bought a licence for.

I loved using SixTools (or the stripped down version, ExtraKeys) in conjunction with QuickLaunch on both my Torch 9800 and Bold 9900 to customize the experience, so I feel your pain!

Have you contacted the dev, ShaoSoft?
If you go to the account listing in BB World, there should be a "Contact Developer" or "Contact Support" type option somewhere there.
