switch on my video camera??

You can set one of the convenience keys (or whatever they're called; the buttons on either side of your phone) to turn on the video camera function.

And I'm almost positive that you can set any key on your keyboard to a shortcut. I just don't remember how to do it- it's been a few years since I got rid of my Curve, but I did something like that on there.
