    I would guess this has been posted, but for any new people reading if you hold down the Menu Key it will bring up the app switcher. I use to use a side key but just found out about this short cut yesterday.

    Alt-"back arrow" button will bring it up as well.

    This feature was introduced on OS 4.6.0.247
