Seeking replacement for SplashID

Greetings:

I've recently come from the Plam operating system world (Treo 650 was my last phone) to the BlackBerry world.

For years, I've used SplashID (which when it works, works wonderfully; but when it has problems, it reminds me of completely terrible programmers who don't know how to write a single piece of code with meaningful error messages).

While they do have a version for BlackBerry, it will not sync, and their tech support has and continues to be slow on getting this working.

What I liked about SplashID is the ability to have multiple categories (i.e. data center, business, personal, etc.) as well as multiple types (SSH, web login, FTP, etc.); and that you can customize each type in terms of the field names.

Are there similar products for BlackBerry (specifically Curve 8330) that are easy to use and sync up with the desktop (Windows XP)?

If so, what do you recommend and why?

Pros:
-free
-sync options
-can create custom groups and add entries (like the categories you talked about)
-Database is an external file. So you can actually have multiple database files located wherever you want and load whichever one you want.

Cons:
-Can't customize fields

Works very well for the price imo.

I'm using keypass as well. Not as customizable and the sync requires you to enter the password each time you sync (unless there is a setting somewhere that I am missing)

I also came over from the Treo 650 (now a Flat 650 when I found the only patch of ice left in my driveway!) and also used SplashID on it. I find the BB version leaves a bit to be desired but I'm not having your sync problems? I just dloaded and installed the BB version and imported my data and sync'd - no problem. Forgive a stupid question, but you did set DM to sync add-ins? I've got XP Pro and am on an 8330. The only difference may be that I switched laptops and never had the Palm version on the new one.
