I was looking for an app on Friday in order to track the progress of a golf tournament being played this weekend that I was interested in. I first downloaded ESPN Mobile, a logical choice, but could NOT get this POS app to work on my 8900 - I wasted hours on it.
Then, while researching other sports score applications, I came across ScoreMobile. Easy OTA download, well laid-out, beautiful graphics and very user-friendly. I had not heard of it before, but I'm very impressed, and ready for the NCAA football season.....
I don't normally gush about apps, especially when I've only used it for four days like this one - hope it doesn't let me down.

I think ScoreMobile looks great. But I will tell you that PGATOUR.COM has more up to date scores than ScoreMobile. I've tried both and ScoreMobile looks better but PGATour was a least 15 minutes ahead of SM with updated info. You can just bookmark or use Quicklaunch and go to:
mobile.pgatour.com/?src=w
and that gets you right to the updated scoreboard. I will try ScoreMobile for football and see if they have better updates.
I have been using Score mobile for the past few months but the real test will be once the NCAA and NFL seasons start to see how up to date they are when I am away from a tv and need to be updated. Layout is pretty good I have to say
I was using scoremobile for the bristol race and was goin to che ck the order of cars while it was red flagged and it was over 20 laps off even when they weren't racin just sittin there it never caught up so I wouldn't rely to heavily on it for real time scores in nfl
