I just found some weird apps in the bbw by a dev called "Andro Studios". Search for it and let us discuss, if such apps should get kicked out of bbw...

    Example 1:
    Mobile Antivirus Plus (v1)

BlackBerry World - Mobile Antivirus Plus (v1)

An app sayin "would feel secure..." and just offering free informations about mobile antivirus programs in a payed app with no antivirus features.

In my opinion this is scam all the way and the dev must be at least forced to provide other app-names...

First of all welcome to CrackBerry!

I don't really think that BB (Legacy+Tablet+10) have the need for any kind of antivirus. To offer it for free is one thing, but charging for it really isn't that fair. Think this should be run by BB so they can check upon it

There you go. So why give an information app a name that lets u think its a working antivirus... and charge for it... for me as a developer app-naming should be close to what u get... this app name lets u suggest its an antivirus app and nothing less.

Watch for the other apps of that dev and the comments some "customers" gave.

I noticed them this morning. Contact info re: BlackBerry apps says to just Tweet at them, so I did. Hopefully they look into this.
