Ok awesome. There's a bug in the Reader setting. I have disabled it so it does not blurt out incoming emails while at work, but the disabled setting continues to play them. I press save but the emails still keep getting read out loud.

You can't just make the new setting go into immediate effect after pressing save? It would make things a lot more faster considering the fact that most BB's take a loong time to restart depending on how many apps a user has. I mean within a certain time interval restarting the phone to take in effect could cause problems for those who could be waiting for an important text, or call. I liked how you kept other versions to take a new effect after saving. No restart required.

I'm not a huge fan of that type of app myself. I'm thinking something like that would kill your battery life and perhaps increase your data usage.

So what is the status with making a SMS read update? There's one for Email, but I really want a SMS read and reply back feature using Voice.

I see it for $4.99.. i dont want to pay that just to test it.. can someone tell me if it actually speaks and says your name?

Took a chance & spent the $4.99, before I read here. So, I've:

    1) paid $4.99 for a beta piece of software that isn't all that intuitive.

    2) installed a $4.99 beta specifically for BBM use -- menus dont show up (or perhaps I don't have THAT much time to wait).

    3) still been left in the dark how to use it for a bbm group.

    4) installed a $4.99 beta that dropped 4% of my available space to install -- space it didn't give back after uninstalling and several battery pulls.

    5) spent $4.99 for a beta that I'm not likely to get back from all reports here.

2 questions here ... can anyone tell me:

1 - does this app save the settings when changed? When i change the setting to not include app in menus, doesn't stay saved that way after reboot.

2 - is there any way to remove this app from startup?

    Thanks

#1 It's probably a bug that needs to be fixed.
    #2 No

How is that any different from email addresses that are listed on search engines from websites, or social media networks?

And yet...the dev has not been around.

Say, you send me an email. Say I put the address online for everyone to see.

    That's the difference...

Did you delete the public list of customer emails from your scribd account yet?

There's a very convenient feature that most sites have that says something along the lines of "Cannot access my account" or "forgot password" that you can try.

Nguyen, have you been able to fix the cropping issue on your PB app Handy Scanner? You said quite some time back you would work on it. I've sent you a few emails the last several weeks too. The last couple have gone unanswered. Any news there?
