Hi All

We all know that the the Blackberry Curve 8900 has released the latest OS 5 (5.0.0.411). Most carriers have not adopted this OS.

Do you think RIM is going to be making a newer OS or is that the end of the line for the OS 5.

Just curious as I see that othe Blackberry models are getting higher release like the Blackberry 9630, Storm 1&2, 9700 etc

i would say its likely that a higher version will be released for it. theres no way that the 8900 is at EOL yet.

and i think the only reason the 8300 series is getting ANY OS 5.0 attention, is just because of the shear physical number of people who still use it and rely on it.

maybe this is better off in the 8900 forum?

The only 83xx series phone that is getting a 5.0 Os is the 8330. The 8300/8310/8320 does not have the memory to support the 5.0 OS.
