    This has been confirmed to begin starting July 7. Rogers will be charging customers without a messaging plan $0.15 for each incoming text message.

    First I've heard of it really. Think they'll bother to notify their existing customers? (I'm one of those guys who receives a lot but never sends). However, I do have a my5 plan with unlimited text... Think that will count?

    With Rogers, who knows whether or not they'll actually notify their customers. As you indicate having unlimited messaging included with your MY5 package then you would be excluded from this additional charge. As well, spam messages will not be charged nor will Fido (owned by Rogers) customers.
