I use ORB through the BB browser. Works quite well.

Thanks - I have both a 9000 and a 9700 luckily. I can use orb on the 9000 no problem, loads well plays well. However i always get a cant play file error on the 9700 shame as I dont use the 9000 anymore!

Did you ever get this working on a 9700? I recently discovered Orb and thought it would be great. It works great on my backup 8310 but it a can't read media error on my 9700. I wonder what changed with the way the 9700 reads audio streams?

Sadly not. I found that both work on Wi-Fi but only the 9000 worked over 3g (after the usual APN and service book deletion etc, I cant remember the specifics). The 9700 could never load the media.

I think there was some sort of control over file download sizes which was stopping. That might mean it is a network specific problem?

Depending on your geek factor, you can set up Ampache on your PC and use Ampacheberry to generate playlists.
