I am looking for a Real Time Flight Tracker App for my Bold 9900. I was about to purchase FlightView but it seems that it hasn't been updated for a while and doesn't work properly.

Does anyone know an app that is good at this?

I bought Flightview but now find that I get the same data, better displayed directly from www.mobile.flightview.com for free.

If you're looking for something free, I found that FlightAware works reasonably well, but the interface isn't as nice and, from the reviews, some people have problems getting it to work.

Flightaware is good and free.. Has alert features, and works on phones, Playbook, and the Web at FlightAware - Flight Tracker / Flight Status / Flight Tracking

Downloaded it, but it doesn't show where the plane is on the map. That's what I am looking for usually and BB Travel fails me there.

I'm using BlackBerry Travel for flight status as far as changes in departures times, etc and for hotel info. I haven't used it on a trip yet...does it actually TRACK the flight as the OP asked?

I can't seem to find out any information on actually TRACKING the flight like FlightStats does.

For map tracking I use the flightstats website. For notification, BB Travel.

Blackberry travel is definitely great. I keep all notifications off though because they drained my battery after a few reminders.

If you're looking to track someone else, just use ur browser and go to flightaware.com

Great website. And it does not require opera or too much bandwith.

Yea I might just flightaware website for tracking, but I'll use BB Travel for flight status and notifications.
