Is anyone else having a problem with QuickLaunch not being able to send an email from the send email shortcut?

I am using and exchange server (Mailstreet) and whenever I send an email from a shortcut it shows up with a red mark to the left of it in the messages folder. When you view the status of the message it says:

Message Status: Pending

The message never gets sent.

Question #1 - What Version of QL are you using?
Question #2 - Does this only happen when sent by using QL?

Version 2.15.1 and yes, it only happens when the email is sent via the Quicklaunch Send Email shortcut.
