No worries... I've been dealing with it since I got my 9930 4 weeks ago. I don't use fixmo that much.
I do however use QL a lot. I use it almost everytime I use my device. It's my number one app. Can't wait for the update... Anything new you can mention?
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
I only have version 3.7.3, so this may be fixed in the later version, but I can't get my gps toggle to work on my 9900. It asks me to enter the parameters of the options/advanced options/gps option etc, but I can't get it to work.
I can't swap versions on the crackberry store.... any OTAs?
No ota's. i dont like ota's. Mobihand Ponzihand has every version of QuickLaunch.
If you want to switch versions email mobihand support and tell them to give you the correct version for your device. You paid them money to handle an account for you and provide you with service and the proper version of the app you purchased.
Negative on the launching QL+ from media keys. I really don't want quicklaunch running in the background constantly monitoring every keystroke etc etc. it goes against the QL mantra of being noninvasive, open, close done, light and quick.
Is there are any way that you can get it to recognise more apps? The one I'm specifically looking for is called Sky Mobile, its an old OS5 app that I've managed to get working on OS7. The other ones would be PDF to GO and Password Lock.
Other than that the only thing I'd like (don't know if its possible) is to be able to create my own simple macros similar to the ones you've already instituted like GPS toggle or Profile select. If that could be done then I'd like macros that you could set to run automatically, say straight after a reboot allowing me to restart Quickweather for example. That sort of thing would be really cool!
This is your absolute last chance to request new features / bugs for the update to QL Coming Soon!
Having recently bought a PlayBook, one QL function I quickly realized I'd like to see is a Bridge On/Off Toggle.
Sorry if QL already does this and i didn't notice, but is it possible to launch Home Screen Folders like Games, Applications, etc?
Maybe call that Folder Launcher, and re-name the current function as File Launcher.
Other idea for down the road is a toggle for Wi-Fi Hotspot as well.
Emailed you few days back. Let me know if I can test when you're ready!
I agree on the macros thing. Dunno how easy it'd be, but the ability to do things like turn the gps on right before you open google maps for example would be useful.
