QuickLaunch gets CrackBerry's award for best productivity app of 2009.

Congrats, CheetahAce... even though my reaction to such an obvious choice was, "Well, duh...."

Right on! QL is the most used app I have installed. With the right convenience button set to QL it is always at hand to setup whatever is needed. This is a very favored app in my world.

Don't try it.................. Buy it! I did and am glad I did. It is probably one of the most convenient apps you will find and you can access everything from it!!!!

You've added so many features and replaced so many other apps that I'm suspecting you'll just release the CheetahAce 6.0 OS any day, handcrafted from the ground up. QL already does so many things better than RIM that you might as well replace it completely.

Agreed - excellent app. Simple and easy to use, yet incredibly powerful. Makes Berries soooo much easier to use!

I don't see my favorite apps in the menu and the manual is out of date...
Is there a new way to add 3rd party apps? Just tried with Google Maps on a 9700.

    Edit
The app doesn't seem to see apps that have been restored through an app loader.

Save yourself the hassle, and just buy it first. You'll end up doing it anyway.

Hmmm, I have the same problem on my Storm. You may be right about apps not being recognized if they were restored. That's quite a problem since I have updated my OS many times in the past and I assume I will be doing so again. I'm certainly not going to redownload/reinstall each of 40+ apps and then reconfigure every one each time I do an OS update. Other than that QL works well and provides useful functions. Not having QL offer quick access to my favorite apps, the main selling point for me, has me kind of disappointed.

I must confess CheetahAce was very quick to reply to e-mails I sent requesting help with this issue. It was never mentioned that "restored apps" were an issue though. But it does make sense since the ONLY 3rd party app available on my list is Poynt which I did manually install since my last OS update. Fascinating. Hoping for a fix in a future version.
