you do not have to redo your settings unless you are deleting them.

uninstalled previous version, did clean install of upgrade, set all permissions to "allow", pulled the battery....

do the following. don't skip any steps. no shortcuts. repeat if doesn't work the first time:

1. go to options applications
2. look for apps called reset / reset2.
3.set permissions for them to deny. save. don't reboot. set permissions to allow. save. don't reboot.
4. go to options applications quicklaunch. highlight quicklaunch. don't click it
5. menu key
6. edit permissions
7. set permissions as above.
8. pull the battery and wait 30 seconds.
9 try reset again (don't select 'reboot later')

if this doesn't work do the following.
options apps quicklaunch. delete quicklaunch. dont reboot.
options apps. delete reset apps. pull the battery 30 secs.
download QL again.
don't run QL.
set permissions for QL as above.
pull the battery
try reboot.

If you're using BEWeather, it does update but only with leaked OS 536 and 545.

It does now ... Only issue now is that when you select to "Upgrade" it gives an error message saying "Quicklaunch is not available to download via App World". ???? Any suggestions?
