Tired of pulling the battery out of device every time you need to restart it? Using Restart BB you can now restart your BlackBerry device with just a click of a button!
We want to test run this app for different device types and OSes. In case you are interested in trying a pre-release app, please post below your device model and full OS version so that we can get the ball rolling. I think we will start with a small group (maybe the first 15 to reply) for private beta.
It does work. The only issue I see is that after reboot it shows the prompt saying "restart complete-changes have been successfully applied". This has to be physically acknowledged before the device can be used. I believe this is a problem on newer devices with newer OS's, as I have had this problem with all restart apps including MeterBerry, QuickPull, Quicklaunch, and a few others.
If you could find a way to automatically dismiss this prompt without the user having to do so, it would be a killer app for me. A scheduling function would also be a nice addition.
I'll give it a try. I already have to agree with MadBradNYC. The only reason I use Meterberry is because I can schedule the reboot. Quicklaunch hasn't worked for me in a while.

Thanks,

Due to some security limitations with BlackBerry, it'll always prompt permission settings for Restart BB app.

Ok. Thanks.
I know that this prompt will always show with the newer devices and OS's. I was just wondering if there is any way to have a virtual keypress of sorts to clear the "ok" button after start up. The same implementation used to begin the restart process in the first place. If you cannot do so, I understand.
Anyway, it would still be good to have a scheduling function added as well.
