Question for Iphone/Android forum members: How many apps do you actually use?
-
- I only keep apps I'm using regularly on my phone - once I'm done a game I will remove it. I have probably 90-125 apps in iTunes but the ones in heavy rotation on the phone right now are:
Flipboard
Facebook
Tweetbot
Twitter
Tapatalk
MyDough
BMO Banking
GetGlue
Score Mobile
Soundhound
iMovie
GarageBand
iBooks
Find my friends
Pintrest
Bell mobility self serve
Yearly
Netflix
Cineplex
Flixster
Imdb
Engadget
Ottawa senators
Google earth
Living earth
CTV news
eBay
PayPal
Sidereel
Instagram
As far as games:
Angry birds
Angry birds seasons
New Bust A Move
Quarrel DX
Pure Hidden
Aurora feint
Doors of the mind
Little shop of treasures
GeoDefense

02-14-12 01:08 PMLike 0 - I have a BlackBerry, but I've seen my dad use his iPhone 4s. And from memory it goes like this:
Daily-
Youtube
BBC News
Words with Friends
Safari
Weekly-
Netflix
GlobalTV
CityTV
Wuze
Dropbox
Monthly to bi-monthly -
Go Transit
Royal Ontario Museum
Art Gallery of Ontario
Flight Tracker
And he's around 60. I'm betting if he were younger, that list would be a lot larger
Because of how badly my 9800 lags, my daily apps
Browser
Facebook
BBM
Any more and my phone has a fit and refuses to work02-14-12 01:30 PMLike 0 -
- Dam, my sister who has CM9 on a mytouch 4g slide uses what temple run and phone/text?
I don't really consider browsers to be aps.
I think of 'special' stuff to be an app, so not facebook, twitter, etc. even
On my berry I just got rid of all the apps I don't need and I was basically left with like 2 3rd party apps:
Fixmo Tools, and Beweather (free on christmas ).
Yea.. Fixmo I use a few, I wouldn't really want to be without and I guess that's 18 apps.
But I really juse use sms recovery, undelete, ram clear, and homescreen notes.
I use 2 apps lol that's how I think of it.
On bb10 besides games it'll probably be the same number.
edit - On android I try to limit apps as well, I rooted my sister's phone and look after 'maintenance' so yea Idk what's on there but it's basically nothing.
Tim horton's and mcdonalds apps may be 'good' but if they slow down boot-up time by a few minutes not worth it.
I know bb10/qnx won't have that problem but with tech at my core I'm a pc guy who builds, his own, and so performance is the main thing to go after; looks matter too, it shouldn't be ugly, but it's kind of like being a guy.
There's I'm normal, she think I'm cute, but I can defend myself; and theres I got a pedicure.01-28-13 01:55 AMLike 0
