    Hey,

I see a post about this, but no solution yet.. So I am wondering if there is one.

On my Storm 2 (9550) with .320 on it, the weather app icon on the home screen will not update the gui part of it...

I know it does when I flip the phone and open up the entire app screen, but its just an annoyance if anything that it wont update on the home screen.

So does anyone know is this an OS issue or am I just missing something. I had originally downloaded Weathereye, and it was doing it on that one, then I thought maybe it was the app, so I installed the free version of berryweather, and still doing the same thing.

    Thanks for any info...

There is a bug in 5.0.0.320 that prevents those icons from updating properly on the homescreen, if you update to .428 or .451 it will fix this.

In Berryweather go to settings > general settings > auto update and set it to update to whatever you want . from never to every 24 hrs.

Also try moving the app to a different location on the home page.
    Sometimes that works.

    Good Luck

I know the original issue has been addressed as the screen bug. It isn't this has nothing to do with thi sone unfortunately, but good advice none the less. And, a better note to take from here, GET BERRYWEATHER!!! As comic book guy would say, BEST WEATHER APP EVER!!!!
