A friend bought a Bold and I told him to download BB app world. He called me and said he can't cause it's asking him to create a paypal account? Is this something new with getting the app? I didn't believe him so I checked the site and it looks different than from when I downloaded the app. Anyone have a link to download the v2.0. It would be greatly appreciated.

He should be able to skip that. I know it asked me the same and I just went by
it. Unfortunately it was so long ago I can't remember exactly what I clicked to
say "thanks, but no thanks".
Have him try again and look to see if there is a cancel or not now type of option.
I know it's there somewhere.
It's never asked me for any such account setup. Only a login name. It shouldn't be asking for any payment account until you actually want to buy an app.
