I got my bold less than a week ago, I have only put google maps and viigo on my bold and my application memory is sitting around 15-16mb. I have cleared out my call logs and browser cache. Is this normal or is there anything else I can do?

    What OS are you running??

See if you can upgrade it to .266 or .282 which a lot of people like.

I found that when I went on .282 I am always around 38-54 mb in app. memory even with stuff like viigo, scoremobile, facebook, google maps etc... installed.

Yes that means you are running an older OS and the newer ones improve memory capacity along with stopping memory leaks.

I would recommend upgrading to os .247 or .266 or .282 and see how that goes for you.

Though I've found that the majority of users prefer .266 or .282

Ya upgrading will will be the best idea for you. plus you might want to get rid of other languages and this that you don't use like any of the built in messengers if you don't use them. This will help free up more memory.

I've had my bold for about a month now and just updated the OS to .282 and my memory jumped up tremendously. It also seems to run a lot faster (moving through menus, etc). Give it a try. I followed the instructions that were here on CB and it went without a hitch. Just be sure to BACKUP your phone before you do it.
