I don't really know how to explain or categorize the problems I'm having with my Bold 9700, it's really weird and has lasted the last few days..

Some applications such as ubertwitter and facebook will not load.. when opened the apps just 'retreive data' for endless amounts of time and fail eventually. Also, the browser that came with the phone does the same thing when I try to search on it. What makes it confusing for me is that my bbm app and my windows live messenger app, email and texting does work fine and connects to the internet, as well does the bell mobile browser (bell is my carrier) that came with the phone as well.

Also, the problem with those apps and browser persists regardless if I am using wifi or my data. However, I cannot search the bb app world unless I'm only surfing wifi.

This all happened literally overnight and I don't know if there is a problem with my service provider, my phone, or blackberry.. but I'm completely confused.. and I've only had this phone for a month

Stupid question perhaps, but have you tried a battery pull yet?

ETA; never mind this one, apparently it's a known issue

To answer the question you're now asking about wifi: this outage (probably) affects Bell's APN, which routes all internet traffic, including that over wifi.

I'm not sure what's going on, but several people have been having problems with Bell device's data. I usually recommend registering your device, but I'm not sure if that will help if the problem is with Bell's network. I can only suggest calling them and complaining. Hopefully they will at least credit your account for the days you don't have full use.
    FYI:
Register Device: Click options> click advanced options> roll down and click host routing table> press your menu key> select register now> click back and close.
