price of apps!?!?!
Does it bug anyone else that apps for our blackberrie (on a majority standpoint) seem to be more expensive that iphone apps. I was cruising through the apple store and was noticing the prices of their apps were almost consistently $9.99
Not a bad deal. Then if you go and look @ ours they are like $29.99. Now I know there are cheaper ones but all I'm saying is cruise through CB's software store and then cruise through apples. Kinda bugged me.
Now do we pay 3 x as much because our apps are that much better? I sure hope so.
P.S. I can't wait for the Storm to hit. So excited!!

Well with the exception of games, which other than a little Brick Breaker I don't play, there are low to no cost alternatives to most apps. If a developer uses his/her knowledge and/or education to come up with an app that is useful to me I have no problem compensating them for there hard work. Also you'll notice almost all BB apps have a free trial period. How many of those did you see in the Apple App Store? Right, like none. So if its not up to par, you're just hosed! What bugs me way more is people who expect ALL third party apps to be FREE! Unless you can make it too, Shut up and put up if you want it. Just my 2c.

The only app I have paid for was Empower Pro e-mail viewer and that was pre 4.5 Everything else I got was free..
