For some reason i upgrade my Poynt that works very well by the way but the navigation setting wont stay on google maps even though im alowed to save it. im in canada if that helps.

Select Google Maps, select Save. Done. Even though it doesn't show up as Google maps being set it is. use it and you will see.

You should get a message for one or both that says Google Maps can be selected but not fully functional. This is why it switches to BB Maps.

There is no message that I received. It works, but just does not display the setting for Google Maps in the options. I reported this the first day it was released in this thread (post 29).

Funny, Google Maps DOES now work for navigation, but everytime I look back in the settings it reverts back to BB Maps. The setting will not stick at all, but it appears to just be in name only, because it DOES continue to open Google Maps for "Map Listing", and "Map Route", but the setting always reads BB Maps. Weird.
