Just received a BB AppWorld notification for Poynt 1.5.3.14. Anybody using this one yet?

Is anyone else still having the problems with the map it feature still ? I'm not sure if its because I'm running a .419 hybrid on my storm ?

Also I don't know if this is a personal opinion or not. I feel that the icons and text are of very low image quality. You can see that the description fonts and word bubbles for each option , ie. Restaurant , movies act... Are of lower quaility compared to the fonts on the main screen saying " where can we poynt you today " or the opening logo when you first start poynt up.

Does anyone else feel they see a difference ?

I cannot download it. Luckily Poynt came with a hybrid I have installed on my Curve, if I go to m.poynt.com the OTA link there does not work. The link posted above is for the Tour I think. Any suggestions on how to get the upgrade??

Go into App World - My World- and click on it. Gave me an upgrade option but no upgrade alert? Thanks to this website for finding it even faster than my own Tour!

This happens all the time. App World doesn't distribute the notifications all at once. The general consensus seems to be that this is by design to avoid the servers being overloaded by too many simultaneous downloads.

Not really complaining but since I don't check App World everyday, or my app's websites every single day for updates, I'm just happy this site is here for us to keep us up to date.

Actually, poynt.com doesn't have the OTA upgraded for some reason...

I noticed it locks onto your gps location FAR faster than the old version It used to take a few seconds to lock on when you first start the app. Now It does it almost as soon as it starts

It connects directly with TELENAV so you dont have to enter an address manually. Very cool! More apps need to integrate the GPS naviation.
