- Got the new Torch (love it) and did my first wifi music synch with iTunes yesterday. Went great, and all the music and playlists transferred easily and without a hitch. On a lark, I checked "podcasts" as an item to be synched (it was in the "playlists" field as an option).
The podcasts currently in iTunes transferred to the Torch. I can play them with no problems. Adding and deleting podcasts from the Torch to iTunes (and vice versa) seems to work well. The one things it does NOT do (or at least, I can't figure out how to make it do) is remember playback position. And remember playback position across all platforms (from BB to iTunes to iPod). iTunes does this, obviously, with the iPod, but is there any way to make sure podcasts all synch up playback position for each episode?
I've downloaded PodTrapper, but it appears to be entirely self-contained (downloading and subscribing to podcasts within the application itself, and not synching with a desktop client).
Has anyone figured out how to do this? Or is it even possible?08-17-10 05:12 PMLike 0
