Anyone know if there's a PNC bank app for the Storm? Had it on my Curve and it was awesome. If not, anyone know when they're planning on releasing it??

Thanks but I don't think PNC and Bank of America are together...looking specifically for PNC Bank.

you can force it to download. I have the link and put it on my storm, but it doesn't work as well as with other BB's... or even with my old WM phone.

I hope it is released soon though, but it doesn't seem like they update that software all that often

The best option at the moment is to download the PNC moblet build for a different BlackBerry and run it in compatibility mode. It doesn't work very well, but you can at least check your balance and such. You can build it at http://www.mbankhost.com/pnc_1_0_build/ with the following settings:

    Moblet URL: http://www.mbankhost.com/pnc_1_0/en/moblet/index.mjx
    User-Agent: BlackBerry8330
    Carrier: Verizon
    Target: Download Page
    All three boxes: Checked

Or just use the following precompiled URL:
    http://www.mbankhost.com/pnc_1_0_bui...686/710008811/

I know this is an old post but could someone verify if they have done this? Or if it works? Also possibly if anyone knows of another solution for pnc.

I have used this on my BlackBerry Bold and it works pretty well. I am able to check my balances and make transfers. I have yet to use the bill payment feature though.

Spoke to customer service rep at PNC today and he said we have to wait for new devices to be supported. No time table, no simple update notification. This applies for actual PNC app, not work-arounds mention in this post. Had same issue with my 8530 on Verizon.

Until then they just came out with a mobile site m.pnc.com which is pretty sweet. Supports virtual wallet and won't take up app memory (esp important for a storm 1 user)

I really loved the mobile PNC app I had on my 8330. I miss it on my brand new 9930. I hope they get it ported soon. (meanwhile, I'm loving this Bold Touch)
