Phone Call Recorder is now available for the Bold 9900 and 9810 only.
You can either record in amr or wav format. Recording is limited to the size of the sd card.

If the recording is not loud then you can turn on the speakerphone.

Click here Download Call Recorder - Apps from BlackBerry App World

You can playback the recording or create a new appointment and attach the recording so that you can play it back in the Calendar application.

Recording automatically stops when you end the call.

Note: Recording phone calls may not be allowed in some States or Countries.

    Couple questions.

Decide on each call to record or not? Like a pop-up or a menu item?

Does a record tone sound that can be heard on the other end?

Is the resulting file auto saved with a naming convention of date/time ; can it be easily renamed on the fly at the end of the call?

My use will be for incoming calls on the road : clients call in with an order - instead of "Can you email that to me" I can record and replay when I stop, reach destination, etc.

The current version you must manually select Record from the Phone Screen menu. In the next version will add filters like record on in your contacts or specific contact category or caller.

the caller won't know that you are recording unless you tell them and in some US States and countries you must let the caller know they are being recorded.

the recording is recorded on the sd card in separate folders with file name 2012-Aug-07_09-00-00.wav You can rename from the app or use Files app to rename it.

    Following are the device details,

Can you please help us to install it on our phone.. is it a country specific issue as India is not there in supported country list.
