I was wondering if there is an app like Papers, for BlackBerry!
Basically, I would be fine with an app that could allow me have access to a database (or just the files) of pdf articles and preview them!

There isnt. You might look for a cheap used iPod touch as an alternative, Papers has a great app for the iPhone/iPod Touch that integrates with the desktop app and can update over wifi.

I might have to look for one soon too. I suggested Papers to my girlfriend (orgo phd student) and now she is hooked.
