Delrahim69: Both Trev and I have gotten this to work with an 8350i. Make sure you uninstall 1.7 first (see my instructions on how to uninstall 1.7) then something I didn't add was to make sure you do a batt pull after removing 1.7. Then, when you run DM, make sure FB doesn't show in DM before trying to install 1.6. Try other folders.

If it still doesn't work, can you post your DM version and BB software version and also what you did step by step (including all batt pulls).

I unRAR'd the files then ZIP'd them. Here are two sites I posted them on:

I didn't pay attention but the file does show 8900 on the filename, so it may not work for all versions of BB. Based on the previous posts on this thread, I looked at everyone's posted models so here's what it works with so far:

8900
9000 (Bold)
8350i
8300 (if yorafriano's worked)

Im having the same problem as Trev. I downloaded it and installed it but I cant find the icon. It shows up in my applications but im not sure how to open it. Help!

No icon for me either. I'm using the BB Curve 8330 on Verizon. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Updated first post with with Facebook 1.5 and 1.6 for OS 4.5 try reloading them again, if you are having the icon problem.

Oh noh, maybe that's the culprit. Im running curve 8320 with 4.5OS. After installation of FB v1.6 the FB icon could not be found on my screen. Would you mine share the v1.6 for 4.5OS please?

Yay, that was fast Thanks for the link, Installing on my curve now. But that was only v1.6.0.17, the last time I checked my FB version was also v1.6.0.21 on OS4.5. It's fixes the calendar notifications synchronization from FB to my BB calendar. Don't you have that kind of version sir?

May I ask you permission to repost those facebook files (as attach files) in a forum (tinhte.com) in Vietnam? We got same problem with facebook 1.7 and many people want to get their facebook 1.6 back.
