Looking for a task manager program. Something nice and simple but not to complex. Are there any free ones out there, do not mine paying a little for one. I thought my Bold had one when I bought it. Through all the upgrades, its no longer there. I am running 297.
    thanks

You will get many opinions on this and I will gladly give you mine. The best I've found so far is Slicktasks by Mindberry. I think its $6.95 and is very simple but does the job well. Give it a look.

I purchased SlickTasks at the CrackBerry App Store a few days ago.
I am really enjoying its features.
This app allows you to categorize and prioritize your tasks.
You can even color code tasks as well as add specific LED colors/sound notifications.
    Check it out

    Hi
I use rexconnect todomatrix which is powerful but expensive
    Pros
    Category and folder expanding structure
Many really great and innovative keybord shortcuts
Includes support for leading industry standard task management strategies
    Auto backup to remote servers
Integration with other bb std apps
    plus many others
    Cons
    Expense

Bought Slicktasks the other day and it's a pretty neat app. Colour coded tasks, sync with native tasks and calendar if req etc and all the other things mentioned about it...
It was on a sale, think I paid 2.95 or something for it.

Heard good things about todomatrix too... apart from the price :-)

Just wonderig, why do you need a task manager? If you do the alt return button it brings up the switcher, also if you have a newer os you can press and hold the BlackBerry button and voila! Hehe. maybe I'm ignorant, but why would u want to shut down native apps? Or kill background apps that are system related?

Agree with all, but want to add under the "Cons" -- it's ugly!!!!! It works, but it's ugly.

Can you quickly explain how the categories work? I've been unable to use the categories that i've created in the native bb app.
