How's the security on these browsers? I'm not sure if I feel comfortable accessing sensitive data on anything than the stock BBB?

Yesterday, I removed Opera Mini and Bolt from my Storm. Neither of them worked right. I don't know why they performed so poorly on my Storm, but others seem to have no problems. I would have loved to keep Opera, it is my regular browser on both my desktop and laptop, but the 'ole Storm failed to make use of it properly.

The BB Browser is horrible. I downloaded Bolt and I love the speed its just iffy with address entry and so on. I just tried opera for fun and I'm finding its almost as fast as Bolt. The only thing is Bolt renders websites way better, like it always displays them the same way a PC browser does, but Opera seems to shuffle images around and so on..

Since you can't have more than one window open, I like using both opera and bolt.

With the beta OSs though, the speed of the browser is getting much better.

So you switch out of them using AppSwitcher and the pages will load in the background?

I tried this and couldn't switch out of Bolt.

I tried Opera and Bolt, but now I'm just using the BB browser. It's dreadfully slow, but at least it works most of the time. Opera was the fastest for me, but way too hard to actually use. The first version of Bolt worked well and I really liked it, but then they ruined it. The update was absolutely atrocious and I didn't have the original version saved anywhere.

I guess the good news for Verizon is that the Blackberry browser is so slow that when I type in an address I forget what I was doing within the 15 minutes it takes for the page to load. Saves them some data transfer due to frustration!

I wish someone would come out with a browser that is fast and works right!

I'm just using the bb browser and it is working fine. There is a little lag as pages load but it seems to be the most reliable. I'm in agreement with one of the posters above as I must be missing something but opera is horrible on my storm. It was awesome on the curve but since going to the storm I've given up on opera mini.

I agree. It's not perfect, but man is there a lot of complaining about it. Works just fine most of the time.
