Is this just me? I get the "No internet connection" error.

the BB browser works just fine, except slow as ****.

my opera 5 it works great. The bb browser works as good as usual. Do you have it set to http instead of socket. It wont work in socket mode.

Did you install Opera 5 on OS 5.0? Did you download it OTA?

does anybody else have the problem with opera 5 where when you click on a string of numbers ( like OS version on links to forum tread) opera 5 just shuts down? I ended up going back to opera 4.2 because of this issue.

I thought mine was working but I just tried - none of my "speed dials" work and nor does the address bar. I looked at the permissions and they are all on allow.

Maybe a delete and reinstall..

I installed when I had the old .148, it carried over when I updated yesterday - do you think a delete and reinstall would work?

I've never gotten Opera mini 5 to successfully install on 5.0 OS. I've had to stay with 4.2

I had to set Advanced Options/Protocol to HTML before it would connect to anything. From then on I have not had any problems.
