    The default browser is great but on some sites I need my Grandpa's reading glasses to see stuff and I'm not really old!! LOL Sure could use that old column view feature of the 9700.

    To answer the OP-- I tried them all. Some don't install, and one or two versions that DID install, wouldn't work properly.

    Default browser is horrible when browsing the forum.. Font is too small, and if you increase the fone size, you have scroll left and right..

    For the OP, you can still use OM5 but the cursor is super sensitive to move around.. so I'm also waiting for the new version of OM to work properly on BB6.

    Here are some keyboard shortcuts for the default browser.

    BROWSER SHORTCUTS
    a = Add to Bookmarks
    b = Bottom of Page
    f = Find in Page
    g = Go To Start Page
    i = Zoom In
    k = Go To Bookmarks
    o = Zoom Out
    p = Page Properties
    r = Refresh Page
    s = Browser Options
    t = Top of Page
    w = View Tabs
    y = History
    <Alt>TrackPad (up/down) = Zoom In/Out

    Almost anything is better than putting that horrible Opera-Mini thing on your phone. I hate the UI and the fact that it is an external server based program thsat does not actually interpret web pages on the scree. It does that on the server an just uses the BlackBerry as a display medium.

    It also does not use BIS and is highly insecure.

    None of that stuff works on 9780 OS6 (unless there's something wrong with my personal phone) I used to use those keys on my 9700... no luck with this new one

    They all work fine... you just have to enable the browser shortcuts first

    Browser > Options > Enable Keyboard Shortcuts = check

    FYI Opera Mini has been using BIS for some time now. I remember the change well as o2 UK used to charge extra for APN/TCP use.

    So let me understand this clearly from any folks who have successfully downloaded a working version of Opera mini for the 9780:

    1. It works without exhibiting a hyper sensitive cursor
    or other flaws?

    2. What is the specific OM version number?

    Hyper sensitivity cursor has not been fixed in OM5. We all will have to wait for the next update.. hopefully soon.

    seriously.. kind of glitchy? for me, opera mini 4 works for a day. then stops. it just won't work. and the only way to get around is to either reinstall it or do a battery pull, both of which are very annoying.
