    Hello,
Been reading the forums about Opera mini version and most of the posts are about the Storm version. So here for the Tour and the Tour only. Post problems, suggestions and findings.

I found that in seep dial press 1 to change, add and delete. Tab browsing is nice since I don't have 5.0 OS.

Problem: the only major problem is Opera took control becoming the default browser. I normally would not care; however, it does not get images, mp3 etc. You have to copy the address and open the RIM browser. No fix is posted yet, but hopefully some will figure out something. In the mean time post away. I'm going to contact Opera and see if we can have a fix or add it to bugs that need to fixed.

    Dan

I couldn't even get it working after a download and battery pull. Received a module error message and I uninstalled it. Sticking with 4.2 for now.

I'm sorry your having problems. I had problems after downloading to. I did battery pull and it works fine now. Try removing it then reinstalling it and battery pulling before opening it.

I had problems until doing a battery pull as well. It looks decent, with tabbed browsing and a decent UI, but still needs some polishing work.

To the person saying it became your default browser, that did not happen with me. Odd ...

Go to Crackberry and have them send you a ring tone or wallpaper to your email. When I click the link it goes to opera. If I hit BB app button I no longer have get link, I have open with Opera. Do you have a different option in the scenario ?

Mine hosed up upon installing and running the first time. Seems to work fine after a batt pull. I don't care too much for it, although it's vastly better than the old version. Still seems cumbersome to me.

It works. . . Tabbed browsing and all but keypad scrolling does not and for that reason alone I hate it. . . . I really don't care to use the trackball for browsing the web. . . . Haven't deleted it though maybe I'll give it another go. . . . Or better yet I'll just keep using opera 4.2! Like I am now. . . . Lol. . . Thanks for creating this post. . . . Show some tour love!

Every time I go to redownload Opera Mini 5 I see new links.....lol This time I see:

OM5 for OS 4.2.1 and higher
OM5 for OS 4.3.0 and higher
OM5 for OS 4.7.0 and higher (required for Storm/touchscreen devices)

I would use the link for OS 4.7.0 and higher since that covers mine right?

It installed on the 1st try for me. I like parts of it. I still have the old version on and am using both, which is ideal. My problems with it have to do with scrolling and inputting text on webmail. The old Opera does it better.

Same issue, but I deleted, downloaded again and installed, then pulled battery to complete when it asked me to. After that, all worked great.

Can someone please post 4.7 OTA because I don't have a PC currently? I tried the jar and jad ota and it stops half way. I don't think that's the right version for the tour.

Did Opera make itself the default browser or am I the only one? Example, click a link in an email.

Funny, only when I emails from Crackberry is when Opera becomes the default browser. Other emails its RIM. Well I guess thats why its a BETA.
