I also don't like Social Feeds as a replacement for Viigo. I miss Viigo's display of how many unread items in each feed. I've purchased Feeds, a Google Reader client. It's simple and clean, and works well enough.
The text-only RSS reader integrated into Upvise also works very well, although it doesn't show the number of unread items in a feed.

Hello. I know I'm joining this thread late, but I wanted to ask : if I activate this built-in rss feed in my Torch, will that bump up my data usage ? I'm on the modest 200 meg plan ($15 on AT&T), I like the RSS feed idea (its just like Viigo, right ?) but if it chews alot of data use , I can't use it.
