Assuming your data plan is set up ok. Go to options, then advanced options and down to host routing table. From there select register now. Give it a little bit and see if this helps

Same here the response I got was that with the new phone the system may be slow to provision fully. Same thing happened with the pre. It's been 5 hrs since I activated still no data services

I dunno but seems vzw users are having similar issues. Tech support said they would call me back thurs. I hope I get data services before then

I've done 5 batt pulls no luck. I have a ticket open for the issue but I wonder is there something someone knows about to get tech support to try something else?

May take a little bit. Give it some time to take effect.

If you do indeed have a data plan with Verizon and are not seeing a capital 1XEV and then the signal bars try this.(if you have a 1xev you are not getting data)

Enter : ##000000
Then hit Send
You will see a whole mess of stuff come up. Scroll down to where you see "SIP User ID:" and "SIP Password:"
In the "SIP Password:" area type "vzw"
Then hit the BlackBerry key and select save.

Let the phone do its thing. You should then shortly see the Signal go to "1XEV".
You also might check Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table
And see if there is anything there. If there is not then hit that BlackBerry key and select Register Now.
This will get you registered on the BlackBerry network and the rest should all work.

I was very close to trying it but decided to err on the side of better judgement
