    every time i try to download app world from the blackberry website, it says that the device is not compatible. i have a stock tmobile 9700, shouldnt it work on one? i put my sim and downloaded app world to my 8900 fine but my 9700 isnt compatible. how did you guys download it?

    Open your browser, Menu>Options>Browser Configuration>Browser Identity, make sure it is set to BlackBerry.

    if you're talking about browser identification: blackberry, i already have that set

    this is exactly what it says:
    "Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry app world"

    Okay, Hmm. That is odd. I've had that happen, have you rebooted the device? Does your Bold not have a shortcut for AW in any of the folders? You are running a BIS data plan, right?

    yes, i am running BIS. there are no shortcuts. i think ill just extract the .cod files from my 8900 and put it in my 9700 and see what happens

    SOLUTION: i found a way to download appworld directly in another thread. download from CharredPC's BlackBerry Experiments thanks to CHARREDPC (the person who uploaded it)
