Ok I tried this out because I wanted to be able to IM FB people. It works but.

1. Its insanely slow.
2. it seems to kill my battery

Is this normal. Anyone else with a better program?

I've been using Beejive for years. Great app and since 2.0 came out, it's way better Lots of new features that are good. Battery drain is low because of the IM Push mode, which means that when you are idle in the app, it sends your email address the message and Beejive intercepts it and loads it in the app itself. So you only get notified if some writes you, and not because some changes their status :P hehe. OF course that only if yo uwant, (which I do).
