I'm assuming you have to have Vzw as your cable service in order to be able to get this "channel" on your device. So what you'll get is a single channel that switches to diff. games when teams are driving, or near the red zone. Directv Supercast is far superior and allows subscribers to watch any game they choose in it's entirety(assuming good signal).

Is there a mobile application for it?

For Directv Supercast? Yes. DL it off their website depending which device you have, but you must be a Supercast subscriber in order to also have it on your device.

I cant wait for this app to be released!! I currently have the Directv Sunday ticket app, which allows me to watch all the Sunday's football games, RedZone channel and highlights. This app also provide access to the NFL channel.

Guess the question is how much will this cost?

Now things are starting to make better sense ... Verizon Wireless had previously reported that they would start rolling out 4G LTE this summer and expect to complete upgrades to all NFL cities .... Now I see the significance of getting 4G to the NFL cities. I'm extremely happy to live in one of those cities ... Bring LTE on!!!!

Yea Sprint just lost the exclusive contract they had had with the NFL to VZW. I use SlingPlayer anyway...but this is definitely a win for VZW subscribers though.

It doesn't seem quite as cool as what Sprint had.
