Just get Addonis for the autolock feature, works just like the good ol' trust AutoStandby, but even better. Autolock feature on Addonis is the single best app for my 9700.

Where can I check if I have memory cleaner and encryption enabled?

Oh, thank goodness.

One battery pull and the uncaught exception error was gone. BerryBuzz restored successfully as well.

AddOnIs is definitely one of my favorites, though I don't use that feature. Both those settings are in security.
Options->Security Options->Advanced Security Options->Memory Cleaning->Disabled
Options->Security Options->Encryption->Disabled

I've been on this OS since a couple days after it was first leaked. It fixed a lot of the issues from .545 and has been rock solid. I am by no means a power user but I can get a solid two days on 2G and wifi in terms of batt power. Definitely recommend this for those of you who are on the fence. All the apps I have work no problem and I restored all of my settings and whatnot after a fresh install using bbsak!

I wish someone would help me...I'm still on 86 and it SUCKS. Everytime I try to install it jumps right to "your device has been updated succesfully" . . . But I'm STILL on 586

nope i tried deleting .593 and re downloading it but still no luck.

you have to download it to your computer and then try to load to device either via DM or app loader

Another happy user since the leak first came out - not sure if it gives me prolonged battery life - the browser is better - the only casualty is that I lost the Facebook icon, when I re download it it tells me it is still there and I can access it thru quicklaunch. The icon is not "hidden" tho so who knows?

Very stable - only one battery pull needed in 2 weeks use - very happy.

Is there any mirror for this? My ISP seems to be pretty bad, can never download any OS from the BlackBerry site completely and it'll end up corrupted.

Downgrade to 57 here, and it will move BBM to your Add-ons, then you can delete it.

For the BBMaps issue, try using Application Loader to remove it, and then reinstall it. It's been working great for me.

Installing right now....

Couple odd things i found about this OS of "pre install"

This OS also has pre-built into it
-Blackberry App
Verzion's PTT

and it will not allow you to remove Blackberry messenger from the "update"....so now i'll have to update my phone, then go to blackberry.com/beta, log in, download the new 5.0.1.5 again, reinsert the keycode and..... that is total BS....

i should of just ripped cut and pasted the .cods.

doubtful..... last time someone asked for something like this, the post got deleted. there is no reason it will be on RIM's site for years to come.
