my back button closes it just fine, i also have it set to NOT update on its own

maybe my first post was worded wrong - I'm trying to make it so that the app doesn't "Exit on close" so if I hit the back button, the app still runs in the background. Usually I don't like when apps do this, but for this particular app, I want it to stay running unless I tell it, specifically, to close - like UberTwitter. thanks
