So i got that Storm Slider App like the slide to unlock thing the i phone has and now im wondering how the heck do i make it work with my lock key on the top left of my phone

It also depends whether or not you got the free one or the pay one.

The app kicks in when the screen dims, so if you have your screen set to dim immediately after you hit the lock key, then the soo works. It took a couple times for it to kick in on my phone. Just yet it a couple times.

I downloaded this App (paid version) and the icon never showed up. It's installed because when my screen dims and i click it, there's the slider... I re-downloaded it over the old file, re-pulled my battery, still no icon.
Any idea?

Also, if anyone could confirm that I will be able to use my lock key to triger this instead of the BB lock, that would be great

There is no icon.....it activates when the screen dims. There is a faq's thread with everything you need to know about this app.

You have to change the compatibility mode and yours should work right.

Go look at the FAQ! When you install it, 1) remember to set permissions to allow and 2) turn of compatibility mode. You can do all this from Options, Advanced Options, Applications and find StormSlider and hit the Menu key...
