Working on adding lots of features (which will be optional to use of course if you fear a berry meltdown) as well as spiffing up the GUI. This program will be able to do much more then what was originally planned.
Also waiting now for a few items from RIM so I can give this a go on my actual device. We are getting ever so close now.

Oh really? Any peak into a few of the additional features?

How have I just found this? I would love this app. I hope it ends up working. And I wish I could help with anything for it, I'm guessing you have beta testers already

I cannot for the life of me think whay anybdoy would want such an application because I already have all my emails on my PC so, why do I want them ALL on my phne as well. I run at about 60 emails a day so I would soon fill up a Media Card.

Do a Backup.
Use ABCBlackBerry to open the ipd fie and then export all the emails to a file or files.
Copy this/these file/files to your Media Card.
Done.
The point sir is not to back up e-mails and the other information you listed. It's to back up SMS txt messages. Personally I'm a pack rat I like to keep them all but being an avid txt messenger it uses a lot of space. I'm use to my envy which in a stroke of genius had a qwerty keyboard for txt messaging but memory for only 50 messages. So I'm use to giving up messages but I'd still rather not. I like to keep these things for evidence.
Edit: In case it wasn't clear I am excited for this app. I'll beta test if needed. Thank you for doing this.
