Pandora ver 1.1.1 now available. As far as I can tell the only difference is that it fixes the bug where the volume would be low then after a message the song would resume play but in high volum

That's because in your browser you need to have it set to blackberry not internet explorer . Try it again and whent says its not compatible open options and set it to blackberry then reload thr page and installs flawlessly

Nice, Pandora is one of my favorite apps. Hopefully this update makes it a little quicker and minimizes the delays I get sometimes.

Sometimes my Pandora app cuts out when I receive a text or phone call. It's really annoying so hopefully this update fixes.

It still cuts out for me. Sometimes just because it feels like it. They only way I can fix it is to restart the app.

Yea I've noticed that too. Hopefully we'll get a 16X leak soon, I'm told it's fix there.

I don't recall having to select close on anything covering half the screen.

The free version has always had pop-ups. It's $36 for a year without pop-ups.

Considering that I usually am not looking at the screen while listening to music, they pop-ups have never bothered me. It's a better alternative to having audio commercials put in between songs now and then.

The free version of Pandora has always had Pop-Ups, even before they had the app for BB. I am a paid user and always will be, I love Pandora!

I've yet to ever see an ad or popup with Pandora on my BB... Ever.. I even wrote a post asking if others did, guess this answers my question.. Maybe it's because I have an old account? I never paid for premium on the desktop, but I'm about to soon.

I've got a few thoughts on this - can anyone confirm them?

    1) My phone (BB Curve) appears to pause the audio when it needs to make a noise - eg when I get an email. Guess it can't output to the external speaker and headphones at the same time?

    2) Pandora is a data application. Sprint (as well as US Cell, Verizon, Alltel) use CDMA (vs. GSM) which incorporates a "data-only" signal model.

Calls & text messages use the voice-only signal and the two cannot run at the same time. Therefore when a text/call comes in, it must break the data signal going to Pandora to receive.
