Whoops. I just posted this in the Storm 2 forum but should have put it here. Just checked the opera website. Opera Mini 5 is out of beta for Blackberry. Go get it at m.opera.com using your bb browser (for those that don't know how to download over the air ota)

I just DL it on my 9700-works just fine. make sure you deleted the beta if you downloaded it, before you install the new version

Menu button has a pop up type menu like the stock browser. It actually seems faster. Impressive.

Edit: i guess the pop up menu is only while in a text box.

The non beta version renders my website very nicely, and it also show my twitter feed on my website which the beta version didn't. Seems to be working nicely. Still waiting for someone to add flash to their mobile browser!

Atleast they fixed the scrolling issue! I can finally click all the page numbers on thread and the little boxes for like a "save password" box or the like. Finally!

Ok i just installed this on my vzw our 9630 running 5.0....419 .. i chose the link that said device os 4.7 or later, and beside that link it said required for storm/touch screen...

is that the right one?

so far this app is amazing and renders web pages as fast if not faster than bolt. the tabbed browsing is a memory saver! i normally would have to run the blackberry browser and bolt at the same time to do that!

Yes, you downloaded the right one. FYI. The beta has been doing tabbed browsing for a long time now.

One thing I'm REALLY missing is the menu that used to pop up when clicking external links that offered the choice to open in either the native browser or in OM. The beta had this feature.
