What about making the light saber upside down? What I am getting at is if you hold it right side up your palm partially blocks the speaker. If the light saber were upside down starting from the "top" of the Storm, the speaker would be unblocked when dueling.

Dmglakewood, my personal recommendation is to program the sounds to overlap instead of abruptly ending the previous sound. This will give it a more realistic feel, I think. Keep up the good work!

If you're running .75 OS there is a bug that reroutes the streaming audio from the speaker to the headphone jack. The only way to fix this is the update your OS to a leaked version or use headphones. I wish there was more I could do about this issue =/

I made the saber longer now, it uses the full screen top to bottom pretty much. I'm finishing up the sound now and then onto the logic.

4) Dont cut off the sounds by another sound(already mentioned)
5) customizable backgrounds

I would def. shell out money for this app, you should see about applying to the RIM app store
